Today EA Sports have released a new resource for all Madden Ultimate Team Users. It is called the Grinder’s Guide to Madden Ultimate Team. This little helpful blog describes some of the ways that users can make coins and how to build a team on a budget. This is a very cool new resource because it lets the users see how someone close to the developers of Madden makes their coins.
Each week, we’ll showcase “sleeper” players that are inexpensive, but effective choices for building your team. These players are chosen by community members from Muthead.com.
Along with the release of the Grinder’s Guide to Madden Ultimate Team, EA Sports also announced their new community sleeper spotlight feature. Each week EA Sports will basically poll members of the MUThead community and see who they think our cheap alternatives to the higher priced cards in the game. For example:
TERRELLE PRYOR – FREE AGENT QB (67 OVR, SILVER)
Submitted by oCOOKo: “Pryor’s throwing stats were not as important in my run heavy offense. When I did throw, I preferred rollouts to take advantage of his 81 RUN rating. 89 THP comes in handy because he does have some zip on the ball.”
Pryor’s auction house price is about 1,912 Coins. He’s a bargain compared to Brian Hoyer, who sells for 5,000 Coins.
While I wouldn’t take this advice too serious unless you have a “run heavy offense” like stated in the quote, this is an alternative that can be very useful to players. Terrelle has 90 speed and mediocre throwing stats but with a price 2000 coins compared to let’s say a Cam Newton that boasts a price tag of 60,000 coins it could be worth your while.
I will be keeping my eye on this blog and bringing you all any tips that are important.
