Road To The Playoffs

This week marked the release of one of the biggest content drops. EA Sports announced the start of Road to the Playoffs (RTTP). Road to the Playoffs represents that half of the NFL season is over. Teams are now putting an increased emphasis on making the playoffs.

New Players

The creators of Madden Ultimate Team know that the content of the game is getting a bit stale. Players that EA Sports based their initial ratings on have gotten “bigger, stronger, and faster.” Due to this there was a need to reinvent the game.

EA Sports released the new content featuring new players and overalls. The players EA Sports has release have either received a higher overall or have upgraded to from their initial tier to a higher one. Each Road to the Playoffs player card will be stamped with the logo to indicate the promotion and availability to be put into a set.

New Solo Challenges

The new solos add over 300 plus games into the single player aspect of the game mode. They range from pro to all Madden difficulty and feature all of the new updated rosters.

New Sets

Along with the release of new players, EA Sports also released new sets that incorporate the new players. The new sets go as follows:

• MVP Sets
  • This set involves a number of players that need to be collected in one of the 32 teams category. Once completed users will receive a player that represents the most valuable player at this point in the NFL seasons for that team.
• M25 Throwback
  • EA Sports has added a new sets that allows users to obtain a throwback player from in my opinion the greatest Madden Ultimate Team, Madden 25. Here is a list of teasers that can be obtained in the set.

• Dual Style Master
  • To complete this set, users must beat all of the solo challenges in the Dual Style category. To be eligible for the solo challenges users must construct a team that has two styles greater than 90%. The reward for this set is a 95 overall Ryan Kerrigan and Maurkice Pouncey.

• Road Master
  • This set requires collectibles that can only be obtained through head to head seasons in combination four collectibles from the MVP sets and finally a Dual Style collectible to be completed. Upon completion the user will receive 100,000 coins and a 96 overall Earl Thomas III.
