Every October is when we raise awareness of breast cancer. October also signifies the release of new MUT content. Now not only does this mean new players but also it begins the period of time that EA Sports takes the money gained from purchasing packs and puts a certain percentage of it towards cancer research. In my opinion this promotion is one of the best of the year because it in fact is for a good cause. Normally EA Sports seems greedy for profit in the Ultimate Team game modes but not this time. I for one will be purchasing some of these packs to give to the National Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation but not only that.
I know that every MUT user has experienced opening packs at on point or another throughout the years. You know that empty hollow feeling you get when the best card you pull in a pack is a 67 overall Manti Teo. I’m sure we all do. Not this month however, so what you got Manti Teo your money went to a good cause. Feel that sense of pride.
Anyway I do not want to just regurgitate out facts that EA Sports have already released but I will detail some of the highlights of this promotion. To read the original article click here.
New Packs
With the BCA promotion, MUT will be putting new packs into the game. These packs contain your normal opportunity to obtain team items, badges, coaches, playbooks, and stadiums but they also contain one of 25 brand new gold or elite breast cancer awareness players. These players cards have a new design of a pink background commemorating the breast cancer awareness theme and have a higher overall than their gold or elite counterparts. This is something to get excited for.
New Sets
If you are able to collect all 25 gold and elite BCA players you will be rewarded with a 95 overall RAY LEWIS.
New Uniforms and Accessories
The Madden Ultimate Team universe has a complete pink out. Users will be able to notice the difference as the stadiums are decorated with crossed pink ribbons and pink shirt wearing fanatics. Also the players uniforms, gloves, and towels will now be pink.
Final Thought
My final thought on this promotion is A+. Not only is it for a good cause EA Sports didn’t go overboard with the released players overalls. The new players will be able to fit in nicely with already established teams while helping build teams that need a little bit more work.
